The Bay Awakens
Original artwork size: 40x54"

One of my favorite places, the San Francisco Bay Area. The vantage point for this painting was inspired by a Tom Killion woodcut from Ring Mountain on the Tiburon Peninsula of Marin County. From the left, the sun rises over the East Bay. The image continues, spanning across to the Bay Bridge, SF skyline, and finally Golden Gate and hills of Sausalito.
